About us

Cedric Hampson Chambers is a leading set of barristers in Brisbane, with 12 members.

The chambers group was established in 1986 by Cedric Hampson AO, RFD, QC, one of Queensland’s pre-eminent barristers.

Our barristers practise in a diverse range of jurisdictions and areas of law, with special expertise in insurance, commercial, insolvency, construction, property, succession and criminal law. Several members are busy mediators accredited under the National Mediation Accreditation System.

Our barristers can appear in all Australian courts and tribunals. They are seasoned litigators who can provide strategic, pragmatic and timely advice based on time spent running cases.  Also, given the wide range of seniority in the chambers, our members are often briefed together as senior and junior counsel and otherwise share their experience and learning.
